Mountain bike Kerala was born out of 10 years of cycling experience in India with three years devoted to trail finding in the mountainous Iddukki district of Kerala. With Mountain Bike Kerala having its successful first season in 2005/2006
We are committed to responsible tourism keeping group sizes small whilst using local staff and expert local knowledge to protect the cultural integrity of the places we visit. Our insider knowledge ensures you experience the full beauty and diversity this land has to offer. All guides know the area intimately and are skilled in both bike maintenance and first aid.
Whilst not pioneering mountain biking in South India Mountain Bike Kerala founder, Mike McLean, can be found fixing punctures in the Peak District, suffering mechanicals on the Merida 100's, slogging through mud on the bleak Pennine trails, or comparing the Alpine downhills with those of the Himalaya.
